Is everything Jesus said in the gospels addressed to Christians?

One of the greatest revelations a Christian can receive is the relevance of Jesus red letters in the gospels. Who was He speaking to at times and how relevant are the outcomes He often mentions in His ministry to the life of a believer after salvation?
